Feel my soul was written as a tribute to leaving her hometown in Fukuoka to pursue her musical career in Tokyo. Fast forward to present day (2012.02.23) and this young singer-songwriter has shaped into one of the most accomplished artists in the Japanese music industry.

YUI’s recent 5th Tour Cruising~ How Crazy Your Love concert tour ended very successfully which now adds to the many achievements that she has accomplished in her musical career.

Cruising ~HOW CRAZY YOUR LOVE~ DVD & Blu-ray March 28th Release!

YUI’s concert at Nippon Budokan, held on January 19th for her 5th Tour 『Cruising ～HOW CRAZY YOUR LOVE～』 will be released on March 28th on DVD and Blu-ray editions.

The concept of this tour was “Visiting places that YUI haven’t been to before” We have received a lot of popularity thanks to the cheers from the fans all over the country.
As for the last part of the recording for the Budokan live, the famous song “TOKYO”, which was written by YUI before she moved to Tokyo and described how she felt at that time, there will be a glimpse of the scene of YUI crying while singing that song aloud, and is definitely a must-see for the fans.

From the day that Budokan performance ended, we got a lot of messages from people in Asia saying “Will YUI crying on stage be released? We want you to include this on a DVD” So we hurried to release this work.
I want people who wasn’t able to come, to see this by all means.

The song will be used for NHK’s Chorus Contest on the middle schools category.

さて、振り返って第5弾！！

クリスマス当日は、、、、
なんとなんと
ホワイトクリスマスになりました☆☆☆

The appointed day, turned impressively into a White Christmas ☆☆☆

プレゼント交換会も行い。
メンバー、スタッフ入り交じって
思い思いのプレゼントを交換しました。
ライブもジングルベルを合唱して、
We exchanged presents.
Band members and staff mingled together
exchanged presents as they pleased.
They also sang Jingle Bells in a chorus.

ホワイトクリスマス公演となりました☆
雪にテンションが上がって、
YUI、メンバー、スタッフ入り乱れての
大雪合戦に突入！！
大人達が本気で遊ぶとキケンですw
It became a White Christmas Performance ☆
the excitement rised in the snow
YUI, the band and staff were jumbled together
breaking into a big snow fight!!
When adults play too serious it can be dangerous lol

12月27日は「松山市民文化会館」
大雪のため急遽バス移動に変更！
メンバー、クルー全員での移動は
さながら遠足のような愉快な時間になりました。
ライブも2011年ラスト！！
YUIもメンバーも全力で楽しんでいたのが印象的でした☆
On December 27th Matsuyama Citizen’s Cultural Meeting Hall
Because of the heavy snow there was a sudden change onto a bus!
During the journey the members and all the crew members
were in a happy mood just like in an excursion.
The Live was the last of 2011!!
YUI and the members giving their all having fun was very impressionable☆

ハッピーバレンタイン！！
Happy Valentine!!


皆さん、どう過ごしていますか？
Are you all doing fine?

YUIです。
It’s YUI.

海外では、バレンタインデーに男性も女性も贈り物をし合うみたいですね。
It looks like overseas, both men and women exchange presents uh?

ホワイトデーがない所もあると聞いてビックリしました！
I was surprised when I heard there are places that don’t have White Day either!

でも単純に美味しいお菓子をもらえるのは嬉しいですよね♪
But to be able to simply receive delicious sweets makes you happy right? ♪

今回のバレンタインは、街に溢れているチョコ達を見て回ってみたいと思います。
For Valentine’s Day this time, I think I want to try going around and look at all the chocolate that is overflowing the streets.

振り返って第4弾！
Hello!
Its the 4th part of us reminiscing!

本日は12月13日「名古屋センチュリーホール」から
MCでは前回もお世話になった矢野きよ実さんが登場！
YUIに名古屋弁を伝授して頂き。
MCでは終始名古屋弁のYUIでした☆4弾！！
On December 13th at Nagoya Century Hall
the MC from last time, Yano Kiyomi-san appeared on stage!
She taught YUI some Nagoya dialect.
YUI did the MCs from start to finish in Nagoya dialect☆4 parts!!

ライブも大盛り上がり。
1曲目から手拍子が鳴り止みませんでした☆
The live was also fired up.
From the very first song the clapping wouldn’t stop☆

さぁ、ここからは九州シリーズが開幕！！
Well, starting from here on out we will be introducing the Kyushu series!!

12月16日「長崎ブリックホール」
九州は南国だと思っていました。。。
知識不足ですみません。
December 16th at Nagasaki Brick Hall
I thought Kyushu was like the southern parts of Japan…
sorry for my lack knowledge.

「わ〜い九州だ〜！！」
“Wow~ its Kyushu~!!”

勝手なイメージを抱きつつ
ワクワクで空港から降り立つ一行
As we continued holding onto our own personal images of Kyushu (i.e: that it is part of the southern part of Japan and therefore, hot)
our group excitedly left the airport

「寒っ〜！！」
“Its cold~!!”

この日九州は一気に冷え込んだようで、
長崎ではなんと初雪も観測。
この頃からホワイトクリスマスの兆候は
あったんです。
It seems the it suddenly got cold in Kyushu that day,
we also somehow got to see the first snow in Nagasaki.
From that time on it was an omen for a White Christmas.

クリスマス直前！ということで、
ステージ上もクリスマス色に☆☆☆
トークも何ケーキが好きか、
で盛り上がっていましたw
It was just before Christmas! As such,
the stage was also decorated in Christmas colors☆☆☆
The talk was also about “what kind of cake do you like?”
which made everyone very excited lol

YUI to Perform at “Fukkou Terebi” Special Show (March 11th)

In order to support the reconstruction of Japan after the big earthquake of Tohoku, Nihon TV will boradcast the show “Fukkou Terebi, The power of Everybody 3.11″ on March 11th, starting at 12:45.
Within this show a “Concert in Aid to Reconstruction” will be held.
Yuzu, YUI, Ayaka Hirahara, Emiri Miyamoto and Sendai’s Philharmonic will perform.

Concert will be at Sendai’s Izumity21

They will invite 1000 people by giving invitations on a raffle.

Open Letter to “YUI Official Goods Store” about Indonesia

YUI Official Goods Store enabled shippping to an important number of countries. For some reason, even though there is a considerable amount of fans from Indonesia, shipping to that country was not considered.

Nana and azmikun sent an email to Sony asking the reason behind this:

Dear Sony
Hi, my name is Martina, one of YUI’s fans from Indonesia. First of all I
want to thanks Sony for providing a website store that selling YUI 5th Tour
Goods for overseas fans.
For your information, in Indonesia there’s a lot of YUI’s fans, some of them
spread through some forum, such as http://yui-indo.com that has been the
site base and some of them spread through Facebook and Twitter.
I and some of my friends that joined the group also always support YUI by
buying her original albums and singles, despite not so many stores in
Indonesia that provide stuff related to Japan and with the opening of the
site that sells Tour Goods to several countries outside Japan is widely
opening our chance to support YUI by buying the tour goods directly.
However very disappointing, like being mention in “Delivery Information

 page ( http://www.official-store.jp/yui-cn/user_data/help.php#sd02 ) our

 country “Indonesia, not being mention in the country list. We as YUI fans
in Indonesia who would like to buy are very disappointed about that matter.
Because that matter, can I ask why Indonesia is not in the list? and are we
still be able to make an order, even though our country not being listed in
delivery destination?
I do hoping that we can get a proper answer, because we, YUI fans in
Indonesia very hoping that we can buy all kinds of YUI tour goods and also
the album or single directly.

早いもので今年も1ヶ月が過ぎ去ってしまいましたね。

さて、5thツアーを振り返って
今回は「岩手県民会館」から
Well, looking back at the 5th tour
This time from the Iwate Prefectural Meeting Hall

東京ではまだまだ本格的な寒さでない中
気温がグッと下がって。
みぞれまじりの雨も降り出して、
みんな着込んでいました。
会場裏には鮭が昇る川が！
ちょっと前に昇ってしまった
とのことでした。。。
残念！！w
While Tokyo was still not really that cold
the temperature suddenly dropped.
There was rain mixed with sleet,
and everyone wrapped up tight.
Behind the arena there was a river where the salmon would go up.
But the salmon already climbed up the just a little beforehand
it was a real shame!! lol

会場に到着して、
リハーサルでステージをチェックするYUIがいました☆
When we arrived at the hall,
YUI was there checking the stage during rehearsals.

終演後は、MCでも話題に上がった冷麺を食べたくなり、
みんなで冷麺を頂きました☆
After the performance, since it was mentioned during the MC,
Everyone wanted to eat Reimen so they went and got it☆

翌日は「仙台サンプラザホール」
円形に広がって独特な雰囲気
お客さんとの距離が非常に近い会場でしたね☆
The next day was the Sendai Sun Plaza Hall
Since it was round it had an unique atmosphere.
It was an arena where the fans were very close☆

早速ツアーを振り返っていきましょう。
本日は12月1日「福井フェニックス・プラザ」から、
福井初上陸！
東京で過ごした一行は間違いなく油断していましたね。
日本海側は風が強いというのをすっかり忘れていました。

Lets review the tour at once.
Starting from December 1st at Fukui Phoenix Plaza,
Fukui’s first disembarkment!
Since we spent our time in Tokyo we became negligent
and forgotten how strong the winds could be by the Sea of Japan.

予想以上の寒さに驚きつつ、
この日YUIは温まる越前そばを堪能して就寝☆
While being surprised by it being colder than we thought,
that day YUI warmed herself up by sleeping straight after eating Echizen Soba☆

翌朝会場に着いてみるとBackyさんが新しいギター手に
ポロポロと弾いておりました。
The next morning, Backy came to check out the arena
and he started to strum and play his new guitar.

近づいてよ〜く見てみると。。。
If you have a closer look…

「HONEY BEE」というメーカーのアコギ！！！！
近くにあった中古楽器屋さんで見つけて思わず買ってしまったんだとか。
It’s an acoustic guitar made by 「HONEY BEE」!!!!
He found it in a second hand music store and bought it on the spot.

外とは打って変わって暖かい雰囲気のクルージングになりました。
The cruise had a feeling that it was suddenly gonna become warmer.

翌日は「大阪国際会議場メインホール」
大阪はMCへ反応のさすがでしたw
突っ込みが早い早い。
The following day was at Osaka International Convention Center’s Main hall
The reaction towards the MC was as one would expect of Osaka
They digged really fast

最近は、ツアーも終わりゆっくりしつつ、曲を作りつつ過ごしてます。
Recently, while the tour was slowly ending, I was passing my days writing songs.

かなりゆる～い日々です。

インプットアウトプットで、また色んな刺激を受けて、たくさん曲を作りたいと思います。
The days were quite lax.
With the input and output, I received a lot of stimuli again and wanted to make a lot of songs.

ちょっと曇りがちだったので写真が少し暗い感じですが、

まずは首里城！
I think I will upload a few pictures from the sightseeing I did in Okinawa.
It was a little cloudy so the pictures came out a bit dim,
anyways first is the Shuri Castle

色合いや文化などとても勉強になりました。
I studied things like shades of colors and culture.

そして、美ら海水族館！
Next up, the Churaumi Aquarium!

私はツアーが終わってしまって涙ポロポロです。。
For me, since the tour has now ended, my tears are falling in large drops..

ツアー中は、本当に楽しくてあっという間に時間が過ぎてしまいました♪
During the tour, it was so much fun that time passed in the blink of an eye♪

たくさんのスタッフの皆様、関係者の皆様、そして、ライブに駆けつけてくださった皆様、ずっと応援してくださっていた皆様という、たくさんの方の協力のおかげで楽しくツアーを回る事が出来ました。
Thanks to the cooperation of so many people, all the staff members, all those involved with the concert, all those who rushed to the live for me, and all those who cheered for me, I was able to have a fun time going around on this tour.

本当に本当にありがとう！！

沖縄ライブ！！
Okinawa Live!!

ライブでは初めての沖縄！！
Okinawa, where it was my first time having a live there!!

どんな雰囲気になるのかと、ワクワクしながらステージへ。
While wondering what the atmosphere would be like, I excitedly headed toward the stage.

最初はシャイなイメージだった沖縄の皆さんでしたが、優しくてあたたかい空気感にリラックスして歌う事が出来ました♪
At first I had a shy image of the people in Okinawa, but there was a friendly and warm atmosphere in which I was able to relax and sing in♪

たくさん話しかけてくれたり、無茶ぶりもっ。笑
They called out to me a lot, and even said some crazy things. lol

沖縄の言葉や食べ物や観光なども色々知る事が出来ました。
I was also able to learn a lot about Okinawa’s dialect, food, sightseeing areas etc..

沖縄では、福田萌子さんという方にお世話になりました！
In Okinawa, I was indebted to Fukuda Moeko!

沖縄の事を詳しくたくさん教えてくださいました♪
She taught me a lot of things about Okinawa in much detail♪

もっともっと知りたいと思いましたよ(^^)
I would like to know much much more(^^)

沖縄では、「いちゃりばちょーで」という言葉の通り「一度出逢ったら皆兄弟」！
In Okinawa, there’s a saying that goes “Ichari bachou de” which means “If you’ve met once, then you’re already brothers”!

これからもぜひワイワイと仲良くいきましょう！
From now on, by all means, let’s be happy/excited and get along together!

沖縄の皆さん、本当にありがとう！！
Everyone in Okinawa, thank you very much!!

こんにちは！
インフルエンザが流行しつつあるようで、
皆さんは大丈夫でしょうか？
Good evening!
It seems like influenza is still going around,
is everyone doing okay?

試験間近！という方も沢山いらっしゃるようですので、
気をつけて下さいね☆
BGMはGLORIAで乗り切りましょう！
It seems like there are many people who are like, “Exams are near!,”
so please be careful okay?☆
With our BGM (background music) as GLORIA, let’s overcome it!

さて、ツアーを振り返ってみて、
初日は「大宮ソニックシティ」
初日ということで、ピリピリしたムードの中開演、
LockOnダンスもどうなるだろうとドキドキでしたが、
皆さん予習もバッチリ☆
圧巻でした！
Well then, looking back on the tour,
The first day was “Oomiya Sonic City”
Since it was the first day, there was this tingling mood as the doors opened,
and we were also nervous about how the LockOn dance would go,
but everyone’s pre-concert preparations were PERFECT☆
It was the best part!

2日目は滋賀のびわ湖ホール
地方初日
裏は琵琶湖が広がってみんなテンションMAXでした。
The 2nd day was Shiga’s Biwa Lake Hall
The first performance there
With Biwa Lake stretched out behind the hall, everyone’s excitement level was at the MAX.

この日、実はギターの黒ちゃんがダウン
（ライブ終了までみんな知りませんでした。）
39℃の熱の中圧巻のパフォーマンス。
さすが！
終了後救急病院へ向かって無事がわかり
みんなでホッとしたのを覚えています。
On this day, actually, guitarist’ Kuro-chan was very down
(No one knew until after the concert was over)
Even with a 39℃ fever, he gave a masterpiece performance.
As expected!
After it was over, he went to an emergency hospital, and once we heard he was okay,
I remember everyone being very relieved.

翌日「奈良100年会館」
なんという偶然か、
この会場は船をイメージして作られていたんです！
The next day was “Nara Centennial Hall”
And what a coincidence,
but this venue was made in the image of a ship!

会場も最高潮の盛り上がりでした！
The venue was also at it’s highest excitement level!

11月10日ツアー前、最後のゲネプロ
Everything started here☆
November 10th, right before the tour, at the last dress rehearsal

in Okinawa Convention Center.

出航しておよそ3ヶ月。
It’s been about 3 months since we first set sail.

長いようで短かった
The seemingly long, but short

このクルージングも終わりに向かっています。
cruising is also coming to an end.

最後は初上陸沖縄！！
Our last place will be Okinawa, and it’s the first time we’ve ever landed here!
