でも、温度感など丁度いいこの時期も好きです。

This Thursday on April 26th, 2012, YUI will appear on a show called 『Rの法則』 “R no housoku.”
The show will feature YUI speaking about past stories including a ‘failed’ part-time job and a love story. Also, broadcasted in the show, will be a different version of YUI’s 『fight』

Before I knew it, many of my secrets ended up getting exposed in the STAFF DIARY! lol
まさか知恵の輪のカンニングが…
I never thought that me cheating on the puzzle rings would…
シュミレーションゴルフが…
or that the simulation golf would…
なんて、そんな事もありますよね。
But things like that happen once in a while too right?
人間だもの。
I mean, I am human.
あっ、みつをさんの素敵な言葉が♪
Ah… those wonderful words from Mitsuo-san♪
(「人間だもの」 (Ningen da Mono) is a famous book by Sugita Mitsuo)
冗談はさておき、もうそろそろ桜が散り始めますね！
All joking aside, soon the cherry blossoms will start falling!
満開も好きだけど、散り始めの花びらが舞う感じも好きだなぁ。
I like seeing them in full bloom, but I like the fluttering feeling that the petals give off when they fall too.
散歩には良い季節になってきてテンション上がります♪
It’s become such a nice season for taking walks, so my excitement level is going up♪
最近は、NHKの「Rの法則」という番組の収録に行ってきましたよ！
Recently, I went to the recording of the NHK program “R no Housoku” (Rule of R)!

東京では、桜も昨日の雨で散ってしまって、少し切なくもありますが、、、
In Tokyo, the cherry blossoms have all fallen due to yesterday’s rain, so it’s a little sad, but…
桜色に染まった道も何だか風情があって素敵ですね。
the streets that are dyed with the color of cherry blossoms have this elegant feeling, and it’s rather wonderful isn’t it.
「散りゆくからこそ 美しい」 by 『fight』
“Because it is fleeting, it’s beautiful” by “fight”
(散りゆく (chiri yuku) means to fall off in terms of flowers and leaves, but to fade away/disappear in general)

私たちスタッフ、そしてYUIも「みんなのうた」は小さい頃、よく観ていた番組なので、とても嬉しく楽しみです！

Suspicious Remix of YUI’s – “Why me” on iTunes/Amazon Store
Out of curiosity, I was doing an iTunes search for “YUI” ‘s music and I came across something suspicious.
Go into the iTunes music store and search: YUI & Star Scene
You will notice a song called “Why me” and yes, you will find that it is YUI’s song. This person, “Star Scene” has made a ‘remix’ version of it and has posted this for sale on Amazon & in the iTunes store. As this is not an official release, this should be reported and taken down as this “Star Scene” dj does not have the rights to use this for personal gain. According to the iTunes store, the song is apparently “copyrighted under Starlight Recording.”

We did a little search and found “Star Scene”‘s SoundCloud account where various mixes of songs are made.
Examples:
Michael Jackson http://soundcloud.com/djstarscene/starlight-michael-jackson
Daft Punk http://soundcloud.com/djstarscene/derezzed-smith-comma-johns
The idea of remixes are fun but posting any song for sale without the rights to them is violating copyright laws and is deemed illegal.
I hope Sony Japan picks up on this issue. I also hope this user “Star Scene” removes this from the Amazon & iTunes store as soon as possible. Perhaps, Sony Japan, should join and provide YUI’s music on the iTunes store and make it official? ^^
